Insomnia

Up late at night
A strange animal
That has lost its wings.

  1. Lol. Hello. No worries; this poem I wrote in 2011 and no matter how much I have wanted it to grow, it has just wanted to be exactly as it is. I do know what insomnia feels like, for sure and it certainly is not very funny. That was then. So I do have my wings now and I can fly. 🙂

  2. i don’t suffer from insomnia but i can imagine it’s not pretty,
describing yourself as a strange animal who has lost its wings
is a potent image. hoping you eventually managed to fly again…..
