I can write, sing, paint and such; but something has changed drastically. It began the day I stopped pretending; when one by one I removed the toxins, the excuses and the lies that I told myself. All that noise.

I believe that silence is golden. I believe that most answers lie in nature, meditation and yoga. Within ourselves. Participating in good causes big and small. I believe in love. This is where my music and poetry meet.

  2. My husband’s father is Danish. I envy you living there. I’ve never been, but would love to see it.
I do like your poetry very much, and will be following now.

Thanks for your visits to me.

  3. Beautifully stated. Your words reminded me of Joan Didion’s quote, β€œThe ability to think for one’s self depends upon one’s mastery of the language.” At the very least, language (and other creative pursuits) can heal us and help us figure out what we think. I, too, have found wisdom in yoga and meditation.
