Fear and loathing

A fat drying lizard

Rotting meat on a stone

Knotting my stomach every day

I want to walk this way

Past this brutal sight

Not to change it nor to fix it

I will never give it weight

And I will banish all superstition

That does not belong to me

Until days turn it into dust

  1. Awwww…sister, Nomzi! Thank you so much for reaching out to me today and your kind comments. What a sweet image: you, in the sunlight, turning your face toward the light and letting it in (just like the background photo on your blog here). That’s a wonderful image, which will lift my heart all day. 🙂 It’s sunny in Sedona, AZ, too. I love living here so much. Sedona is magical. I hope you can visit someday. I would love to meet you, sis. Warm hugs from your friend, BigLizzy

  2. The sun is out in Oslo city, BigLizzy. Can you imagine? When I read your message tears came to my eyes the other day. Sunless living. Kindness is by far the best quality a man or a woman can possess. I trust that you are well and thank you once again for your support. You are a star. 🙂
