Valentine’s day

House pets hear the hungry

Bent over double in despair

We can botox instead of cry

While condoms blind the undecided

Let’s take pictures of ourselves

As though death is not for us

Let’s raise our glasses to fake plastic love.

  3. So this is your first WordPress blog I suppose? Lovely! And I would like to nominate you and your lovely blog for the Liebster Award!

Recently I have been nominated for this “Award”. An award meant to welcome (relative small) bloggers to the world of Blogging. If you participate you have to nominate 3 to 11 other people for this award.

Since we follow each-other blogs for a while now and I appreciate your blog, I would like to nominate you for the Liebster Award.

There are a few rules if you accept this award which you can find here: http://luvo-photography.com/2014/12/21/the-liebster-award-a-little-more-about-me/

Basically the rules are: Answer the 11 questions I have written for you in my blog, state 11 random facts about yourself and nominate 3 to 11 other people for an award.

Feel free to ignore this award if you don’t like it, I appreciate your blog anyway 😉

I wish you great holidays and happy blogging.

    Kind regards,
    Tieme

  4. Wonderful. I do believe in love but the red things sold in in the shops, mostly to be thrown away, drive me nuts. When will I soften about this waste? Probably not ever. In the meantime, I write, so thank you for popping by. 🙂

  5. really speaks volumes when thinking on how much this actually represents valentine’s day as it is portrayed in society, short and bittersweet. it’s a provocative piece.

  6. That is the same with any form of writing, from opinion piece to poetry of any sort. (check out my blog today…it’s a spoken word piece…she illustrates in no uncertain terms why it is that to play it safe just won’t do it justice!). I can’t stand the safe stuff, in general. I find that if you haven’t laid it all out there, my brain will just stop paying attention. Keep laying your stuff out there, girl…the results are clearly worth it!

  7. lol omg really is it?? Ok that’s it… I will find a profile picture of my mother to show you. It looks EXACTLY like her. And just so you know, my mother is one of those people who looks like she is my sister…probably my younger sister half the time 😉

  8. Love this! Not always a fan of poetry because it tends to be cliche and simplified and played out most of the time, but this was different. Made me really stop and think about each line and what it meant! Absolutely fabulous
